Because I finished the design in school, and because i did not scan it in, and because i never got it back, i can’t post a picture of the design!!!

it basically says 美育 and i had a palette and a mask and i dont remember how it looks like because i redid the whole thing in school!

yes it is pretty irritating when you submit pieces of work, esp those you’re please with, and NEVER GET IT BACK! most of the time they end up being thrown away after rotting in some corner. ^^

which is why im insisting that i bring home my final coursework at the end of the whole thing.

this is the design for my math portfolio. it was purely whimsical and un-mathly.

i was so upset doing this that i didn’t realise i was using a black pen. i thought i was using a blue pen to draw the circles on “portfolio”.

so the contrast between the red letters and the blue letters are a bit too steep.

but this is my first attempt at this kind of “style”, you know, concentric circles. but i dont think it’s very clear here.

by now you’d seen this on the other blogs. the banner was done by huikin, leny, and i together with the help of 2 other classmates yiling and bernice, for our stall “BLOONS”, where you basically shoot darts at balloons. (it’s an idea from facebook^^)…and it’s not easy…

the shadow on the balloon was an accidental smudge by some clumsy person >.>, which turned out to be highly artistic. but nevertheless, our classmates thought that the banner looked really balloon like.

hohoho, after a hiatus, i’m here to post. anyway, this was the design i did for Council’s June Camp 2008. The camp was designed for the juniors by my batch to train and prepare them for their upcoming Council term.

Anyway, the theme was such that “PASS9N”, with “9″ representing “IO”, forms the word “PASSION”–PASSION–batch 09. cool right?

here’s the write-up: ‘In line with the theme “PASSION”, the programme booklet cover depicts an image of a fiery flame; a symbolism of the theme. The image used resembles that of a fiery mountain, which can be interpretated that the campers will overcome all obstacles together as they scale to a greater height, with the passion that they share as one batch, one Council.’

the part about the picture resembling a mountain was purely coincidental.

Wheee. ok sorry i just finished this piece of work. it’s sooo overdue.

anyway, i’ve ignored the fact that one of the citeria for the design is that it must be “versatile” enough, a.k.a. “can change colour one”.

the colours used are our school colours, yellow and blue. (yes i suppose they are official school colours, since it’s the colour on our school flag AND the debaters wore them at the Arena last year).

for some strange reason, i simply can’t see chinese fonts in my photoshop. so. there’s no 南洋风采。

and i think the font below looks better. more “generation-like”. if that word even exists.

after editting 11 times…and 6 hours on the butterfly. NYGH is not VISIBLE because i did not put it in. and im not doing it because i cant squeeze it in.
